DAY 4  - AROUND SANGKHLABURI

Since i'm going to try and keep this updated daily, it will mainly be pictures, plus information on places to stay, eat etc.

Sangkhlaburi is an amazing little town, a place that people would refer to as 'the real' Thailand, somewhere you could just lose track of time enjoying the peace and beautiful surrounds.

The Bridge to Mon Village

The original Mon Bridge was partially destroyed last year by flooding, this floating bamboo 'pathway' was the replacement while repairs were done and obviously is still there

We did a sunset boat trip out to the 'sunken' old town and temple, though as the dam levels are so low, it is currently not underwater...

300bt round trip, though the cost can be shared between a group of 6

Some accommodation options around town

We stayed here, Sumran Resort.  500 baht per night, 600 with breakfast
